The Corporation seeks design and construction solutions to remedy miscellaneous items associated with the completed Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (AIWWTP) Stage 5 Expansion Phase 1, and Phase 2 Early Works projects. The work includes the provision of professional consulting engineering services for the Engineering Services for the Lulu Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (LIWWTP) Gravity Thickener Redundancy Project.

• Sub-Project 1: Groundwater Ingress Structural Investigation and Repairs - Secondary Clarifier Service Areas 7, 8, and 9 basements and Primary Electrical Building electrical tunnel. 

  • Remediation of Secondary Clarifier Service Areas 7, 8, and 9 basement walls to prevent groundwater ingress.

  • Remediation of Primary Electrical Building electrical tunnel to prevent groundwater ingress. 

• Sub-Project 2: Influent Control Chambers and Bar Screen 1 – 4 channels concrete lining repairs and Baffle No 2 installation.

  • Assessment and Implementation of repairs for Influent Control Chambers and Bar Screen 1 – 4 channels concrete thermoplastic liner. 

  • Installation of Baffle No. 2 at Bar Screen No. 2 Influent Channel entrance. 

• Sub-Project 3: Primary Odour Control Related Works

  • Assessment, design and implementation of a solution to prevent debris from the screenings compactor system entering primary odour control stream for the Influent Pump Station grit and screenings and truck bay.

  • Testing and Commissioning of primary odour control stream for the Influent Pump Station grit and screenings and truck bay.
