The scope of work will include conducting water column sampling events for each tidal condition (flood, slack, and ebb) and sediment and bottom water sampling in February or March 2022 (prior to Fraser River freshet) at the Lulu Island WWTP Initial Dilution Zone (IDZ) boundary, within the vicinity of the outfall, and reference areas; laboratory analyses for physical, chemical, and bacteriological parameters (and an option to conduct additional analysis of organic parameters), and sediment toxicity; and a comparison of results to applicable objectives and guidelines and current and historical data from previous sampling programs at Lulu WWTP. Deliverables for this work include submission of a draft report, revised draft report, final report, a plain language summary report suitable for the general public, and separate presentations to Corporation staff and the Environmental Monitoring Committee.
