Notice is hereby given by the Metro Vancouver Regional District (“the Corporation”) of its intent to contract with Sphera Solutions, Inc. (Sphera) for the purchase of the SheraCloud corporate sustainability software (SpheraCloud) upgrade to the Corporation’s existing SoFi perpetual license held with Sphera. The upgrade will mitigate Corporate costs and reporting risks associated with Sphera’s discontinuation of extended support of the perpetual license effective 01 January, 2023. This contract will have an estimated value of approximately $126,527 over a five-year period. 

Service providers wishing to object to this decision should submit their response through the Bidding System (https://metrovancouver.bidsandtenders.ca) no later than 2:00:00 p.m. local time on the 27^th day of October, 2022, presenting specific reasons for their objection. If warranted, a meeting with the parties may be called to receive presentations regarding this contract. 

Contractors with the required expertise, experience, resources and the proven ability to offer the same or better solution at a lower cost, will be key criteria with regard to the consideration of contractor objections. Metro Vancouver’s decision in this regard will be final.
