The design, fabrication, delivery, provision of onsite services during construction
including supervision of installation, testing, inspection, and commissioning of the
Equipment, training of operations and maintenance staff and provision of onsite
services post construction including warranty services all in accordance with the
drawings and specifications contained in this RFP, at the Northwest Langley
Wastewater Treatment Plant for the following equipment.
There are two (2) groups of UV equipment:
• GROUP A: Open Channel UV Disinfection System consisting of a minimum of
four (4) UV banks for each channel with space for one (1) standby UV bank, for
a total of three (3) channels, UV bank power distribution centres, three (3)
outlet modulating weir gates, actuators, and three (3) UVT monitors.
• GROUP B: In-line UV Disinfection System consisting of a minimum of three (3)
UV chambers with an N 1 design (2 duty and 1 standby), UV chamber power
distribution centres, a minimum of three (3) high-performance flow control
valves, and actuators.
