The Corporation intends to build a new Ferrous Chloride Dosing System at the Cloverdale Pump Station site. The new facility is to replace an existing facility currently located at the City of Surrey Works Yard, which the city has asked to be removed. The Ferrous Chloride dosing facility injects ferrous chloride into the wastewater to reduce odour generation and corrosion in the South Surrey Interceptor by inhibiting sulphide generation. |
