The work includes identifying and assessing different plausible future scenarios in terms of seasonal supply, and demand projections, as well as impacts of conservation programs, alternative supplies, population growth and other parameters in the next 50 years. Each scenario will have associated metrics for Metro Vancouver to monitor which future scenario most closely corresponds to the observed water supply and demand in the region. Each scenario will also have an implementation plan to ensure potential supply gaps are identified and addressed
