The Corporation is seeking to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Lions Gate Wastewater Treatment Plant's (LGWWTP) monitoring data to propose site-specific effluent discharge objectives (EDOs) for the existing LGWWTP and future North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant (NSWWTP) (the “Services”). The successful proponent will compile and analyze monitoring data (influent, effluent, initial dilution zone boundary water column, sediment, and fish tissue) for the LGWWTP from 2012 to 2022 and compare the data against applicable environmental quality guidelines/objectives for the receiving environment in accordance with the CCME Wastewater Effluent Strategy and the Corporation’s Integrated Liquid Waste and Resource Management Plan. The Services aims to update potential EDOs for the LGWWTP and evaluate impacts on EDOs following the upgrade to the NSWWTP. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for the Corporation to enter into a consulting services agreement (an “Agreement”) with the successful proponent for the Services. The Agreement will have a term of one (1) year. The Agreement is attached as Appendix A to this RFP, and it is comprised of the following documents:
