The primary scope for the Whalley Reservoir Structural Repairs project is to complete structural repairs of four identified leaking cracks in the Reservoir berm, identify and complete repairs of other cracks in the base slab and the roof slab, and complete other repairs as identified by the Consultant.  The reservoir is planned to be drained and shutdown over a three-month period from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022 to allow for the identification and repair of leaking cracks.  Due to operational requirements the reservoir cannot be taken offline prior to the start of construction to assess and determine the extent of repairs.  The Corporation has engaged a Consultant to complete the assessment at the start of the shutdown and provide recommendations and details for the repair work.
