The intent of this Request for Qualification (RFQ) is to seek statements of qualifications (Responses) from parties (the Respondents) interested in providing professional engineering and related consulting services (the “Services”) for the detailed design and construction phases for the installation of new backup power at Westburnco Pump station. More specifically, the intent of this RFQ is to short-list up to five (5) Respondents to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the consulting services; however, the Corporation reserves the right to short-list a greater number of Respondents.

While it is anticipated that this RFQ may lead to a Tender or Request for Proposal, the Corporation reserves the unfettered right to determine the next steps in the process, which may include negotiation with the front-runner(s), issuing a Tender or Request for Proposal to the short-listed Respondents only, issuing a Tender or Request for Proposal to more than the intended number of short-listed Respondents, collapsing this process entirely or pursuing a different selection process altogether.
