The work includes consulting engineering services for the preliminary design, detailed design, construction and post-construction (the “Services”) for the upgrades of the three existing rechlorination stations, Cape Horn, Pitt River and Clayton Rechlorination Stations, including construction of new buildings to house the new equipment, design and installation of a backup power generation system for the Pitt River Station and evaluation of the existing backup power systems for the Cape Horn and Clayton stations and design the upgrades as/if deemed required, replacement of all electrical, process-mechanical, controls, and building-mechanical equipment at the Cape Horn rechlorination station to be located on the new second floor, provide the design control system upgrades to a ControlLogix based PLC for each site, review and evaluate the process system(s) for Pitt River and Clayton stations to identify what is recommended to be kept and what need to be replaced.
