Description: 

The Corporation is seeking ground improvements and preload engineering services for the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (IIWWTP) Upgrades Program.  Services will include preliminary and detailed design of ground improvements and preload, including seismic deformation analysis, to achieve the soil densification required prior to construction of the new IIWWTP. Services will also include procurement support and construction management.

Ground improvements and preload engineering services will be awarded in phases, and will consist of the following:

  • Phase 1 – Preliminary Design
  • Phase 2 – Field Testing Program
  • Phase 3 – Ground Improvements and Preload: Detailed Design
  • Phase 4 – Ground Improvements and Preload: Construction Engineering Services
  • Phase 5 – Seismic Barriers: Detailed Design and Construction Engineering Services
