The intent of this Request for Qualification (RFQ) is to seek statements of qualifications (Responses) from parties (the Respondents) interested in providing preliminary design, detailed design, construction and post-construction consulting engineering services.

The specific objective of the Project is to install a large diameter water main within a tunnel crossing under the Fraser River that will withstand and remain fully operational following the Maximum Credible Earthquake. The new crossing will also provide increased capacity to meet future demand to communities south of the Fraser River, and will be protected from scour.
