The Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District (the Corporation) is seeking causeway improvements engineering services for the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (IIWWTP) Projects from consulting firms with extensive multi-disciplinary engineering experience in the Lower Mainland (the Respondent).The selected Respondent will, in a phased approach, support the Corporation with causeway improvement design by revalidating the conceptual design, performing options analysis and evaluation, completing preliminary and detailed design, providing procurement and tendering support, liaising with regulatory bodies in coordination with Corporation staff and providing construction engineering services. It is the Corporation’s intent to award the design phase only with the upcoming RFP, and will negotiate the fees for the construction phase of the project with the selected Respondent at a later date (assuming the Corporation is satisfied with the performance of the selected Respondent).
