The Greater Vancouver Drainage and Sewerage District operates five (5) Waste Water Treatment Plants within the Metro Vancouver Regional District. The equipment utilized is highly specialized and is often custom made to fulfill the applications requirements. Many parts internal to the equipment are proprietary in nature and design, and as such, Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) parts are usually required to perform the required services. The initial work includes the performance of a standard maintenance overhaul of a Bird Humboldt CP304 Centrifuge in accordance with, or exceeding, the original equipment manufacturers recommendations and or requirements as detailed in document Section 00100 Scope of Services. Additionally, at its sole and unfettered discretion and option, the Corporation reserves the right to award a termed service contract to one or more firms for the performance of centrifuge maintenance, repair and overhaul services for centrifuges deployed within the Corporations network of Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) for a term of three (3) years with the option to extend the agreement for one (1) additional two (2) year term.Copy and paste description of work (Section 1.2) |
