Description: |
The Corporation is seeking to conduct an evaluation of health-related emission reduction interventions for commercial and residential food production equipment and processes within the Metro Vancouver region (the “Services”). The successful proponent will evaluate, assess, analyze and collate data for the delivery of two reports. The purpose of the Services is to assess the emission intensity of typical commercial food production equipment and processes in the region, identify and evaluate emission reduction interventions for commercial food production, and review food production emissions management approaches and policies in other jurisdictions. The study will also develop an inventory for the high-emitting commercial food production equipment and control technology in the Metro Vancouver region. The study will also identify how various jurisdictions manage emissions from outdoor cooking with solid fuel on residential properties, including smokehouses, charbroilers, wood-burning stoves, and chimeneas. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for the Corporation to enter into a consulting services agreement (an “Agreement”) with the successful proponent for the Services. The total budget for the Services will be to a maximum of CAD $120,000, inclusive of all fees but excluding any applicable sales tax. The Agreement will have a term of one (1) year. |
