The intent of this RFP is to short list and pre-qualify up to five (5) vendors for the provision of the services identified herein for a term of three (3) years with the option to extend the term for one (1) additional two (2) year term. Through the course, and result, of evaluating the responses received, the Corporation intends to determine a lead or primary service provider with up to four (4) alternate service providers. Work, over the term(s), may be awarded based on, but may not be exclusively on, the service provider(s) skill set, availability, appropriateness of equipment to perform the required tasks and price. The work includes, but may not be limited to, the provision of a variety of vacuum truck services as well as specialized related services on an as and when required basis as detailed in document Section 00 24 10 – Scope of Services.
