The scope of work includes, but may not be limited to, the supply and delivery of Light and Medium Duty Trucks, in a number of configurations on an as and when required basis for a term of five (5) years, with the option to extend the term for two (2) additional one (1) year terms

The Corporation’s Fleet Division (MetroFleet) is responsible for the lifecycle management of its vehicular assets from planning, acquisition, and maintenance to disposal for all the Corporation’s operating entities.  A strategic partnership is sought to provide sourcing of light and medium duty vehicles to support the Corporation’s service delivery in the Region.  Additionally, service and parts support is key for minimizing downtime due to preventative maintenance and repairs and account administrative support is required to ensure efficiency in the necessary fleet management processes.

The Corporation operates a fleet of over 850 pieces of mobile equipment. The fleet consists of vehicles ranging from light duty sedans to heavy equipment to grounds maintenance equipment. As vehicles reach their productive and economic end of life, they are replaced. 

Ideally the Corporation would like to award to One Proponent, however The Corporation reserves the right to, and in its sole discretion to award, in whole or in part to one or more Proponents. Award of any agreement(s) will be based on such items as a Proponents technical abilities, location and proximity to the Corporations operations, financial proposal service offerings and overall best value to the Corporation.
