Scour protection related works are required for the Corporation’s Tilbury Main South Arm Crossing prior to the 2022 freshet, and includes the removal and disposal of existing Armorflex mattress, site preparation and the supply and installation of a blended apron (Type 1 Fill) along the pipeline at the south bank, and removal of hump within existing blended apron over the Tilbury Main South Arm Crossing. The Type I Fill is to be placed on the river bed with approximate cumulative dimensions of 50 m (length) by 33 m (width). The crossing runs from Dyke Road in the City of Richmond to Berg Road in the City of Delta. Refer to the Tender Documents for complete details of the scope of work.
