The work includes but is not limited to: tunneling, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and associated environmental and other work, for the construction of two deep vertical shafts, a 2.3 km long tunnel, installation of a welded steel water main pipe in the tunnel and shafts, construction of valve chambers, and installation of surface piping (the “Work”).Work also includes functional testing and commissioning support of the constructed facilities.  The Proponent is referred to Section 01 11 00 – Summary of Work for an expanded summary of the Work, and the project (the “Project”).
