| Description: |
The work includes construction of two deep vertical shafts, a tunnel mined beneath the Fraser River utilizing a tunnel boring machine (TBM), construction of a safe haven if required on the south side of the Fraser River, installation of a large diameter water main within the shafts and tunnel, construction of two valve chambers, and testing and commissioning of the constructed facilities. The successful contractor will be required to supply all labour, equipment and materials for the project including TBM, pipe, valves, etc. For further clarification on Scope, refer to the Request for Qualification document, Section 00010 Part 2.
